Germany New National Gallery, Berlin
The Neue Nationalgalerie houses European paintings and sculptures from the 20th century, ranging from classical modernism to art from the 1960s. It is also worth visiting from a photographic perspective, either with Henry Moore's sculpture ‘The Archer’ or the steel sculpture ‘Têtes et Queues’ in the foreground.
Photography Tips
With the Henry Moore statue in the foreground, you should take photos either in the morning or before sunset (in summer) to avoid shooting against the sun. The motif is probably also good to photograph after rain, when the paving slabs are wet and create reflections.
Travel Information
Parking spaces are likely to be scarce in the surrounding area. The best way to reach the Neue Nationalgalerie is by bus, getting off at the ‘Potsdamer Brücke’ stop. From Potsdamer Platz, it is about a 10-minute walk.
