The Bartholomew Chapel in Paderborn was built around 1017 and is considered the oldest known hall church north of the Alps.
The Bartholomew Chapel was part of the Ottonian new building of the royal palace in Paderborn as a presumed palace chapel. The acoustics in here are fantastic.
