Germany Petruskapelle
St. Peter's Chapel in Palenberg, also known as Karlskapelle, is a two-nave building constructed from pebbles, quarry stones, and bricks in the 11th, 12th, and 17th centuries. In 1957, excavations at the chapel uncovered an octagonal baptismal font dating from the 8th century, proving that the wooden church must have been a baptismal and parish church as early as the 8th century
