The slag heap „Rheinelbe“ is another Landmark of the "Route der Industriekultur" of the Rhein-Ruhr-area. It has a height of 106 m above sea level. On top there’s a stairway and a huge sculpture made of concrete ashlars which remembers me of an archaic ritual place like an Aztec pyramide.
