In the winter months, the sun rises behind the train tracks and Elbphilharmonie. From "Stinting" you have a beautiful view across the harbor and the museum ships Cap San Diego and Rickmar Rickmars.

Photography Tips

A 70-200 lens is optimal. Everything tighter looks cramped. For beautiful sunstars the photo has to be taken in late January or early February. CYou have to be lucky with the weather, usually the winter months are very cloudy in Hamburg.

Travel Information

Take the U3 to "Landungsbrücken". If you come by car, there's a carpark right next to Landungsbrücken.From there it's just a 5 minute walk to the spot.
