Germany Wieck Drawbridge

The Wieck wooden drawbridge was built in 1887, modeled after Dutch designs. The drawbridge spans the Ryck River, which flows into the Dänische Wiek, the southern part of the Greifswald Bodden, a few hundred meters to the east. It connects the two districts of Wieck and Eldena, which belong to the university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald.
