The towerruin , surroundet from trees is in a middle of a field in Mecklenburg Vorpommern near the village of Klütz and is a nice foreground for milkywayphotography.

Photography Tips

Take a wideangle lens with at least f2.8 and a tripod. Choose 2500 - 3200 Iso and about 15 sec. exposure. If you use a DSLR Camera make sure that you don`t have to touch you camera for exposure. The best is a wireless exposure.
To Plan your shooting the milkyway i recommend an app like photopills or so.

Travel Information

This spot is a challange. Google maps was showing me a dead end street with a parkingspace and 5 min. walk. That was completly wrong. I`ve parked my car, and you need a car for that aerea in the world, beside the mainroad and walked about 2 km over muddy fields. In the pitch black night. No Fun.... But at the end i`ve got a fantastic starry sky.
