Place the hikes for scale. For more dynamic I would prefer a good light and an open aperture to lead the viewer through the image, for an example with an unsharp foreground.

The hike to the Eugenienstein is a short but rewarding walk through typical Eifel forest and open volcanic terrain. The trails are well-marked and lead you steadily uphill, with a few rocky sections adding a bit of character along the way.
