Overmeyers Mühle is a beautiful traditional windmill set within the calm rural landscapes of the Münsterland region, offering an authentic glimpse into northern Germany’s historic countryside culture. Surrounded by fields, trees, and quiet walking paths, the location is especially atmospheric for photography during misty mornings and warm evening light.

In autumn season the colors are great with the golden leaves. Would prefer this time of the year.

The mill is easiest reached by car via the local country roads around Steinfurt and can easily be combined with nearby cycling and hiking routes through the Münsterland area. Visitors using public transport can travel to Steinfurt by regional train and continue by bike or taxi toward the mill and surrounding countryside.
