The Bevermündung in die Ems is a peaceful natural area where the river Bever flows into the Ems, surrounded by floodplain meadows, riverside forests, and wide open landscapes typical for the Münsterland region. The calm water, changing light conditions, and quiet atmosphere make the confluence one of the most relaxing nature spots for walking, cycling, and enjoying the river scenery.
The surrounding Emsauen landscape is especially known for its rich birdlife, gentle riverside paths, and untouched wetland character between Telgte and Münster. The area combines classic Münsterland countryside with peaceful river nature, creating beautiful scenery throughout the seasons, especially during sunrise, misty mornings, and warm summer evenings.

Photography Tips

Wait for the golden light and use the river as a leading line to the trees and the sun.

Travel Information

You can easily reach the Bevermündung by car or bicycle via regional roads and riverside cycling paths near Telgte and Münster.
