Germany Airplane Viewing Spot in Taunus
Epsstein-Bremthal is located near the Frankfurt Airport, and although noise pollution in the town is minimal, hundreds of different types of airplanes can be seen daily in the countryside. This is a great opportunity to photograph them.
Photography Tips
Most of these photos were taken with a 600mm focal length lens and image stabilization to capture fine details. You need to use a relatively fast shutter speed to “freeze” the planes, although for other types of compositions, slower shutter speeds might also work. Additionally, I always try to include other elements in the composition, such as the moon, clouds, or the aircraft’s jet trails.
