Auf der Abraumhalde der ehemaligen Zeche Ewald. Das Himmelsobservatorium zeigt unter anderem auch die Winter- und Sommersonnenwende an. Es gibt Marken, an denen man Mondwenden und Präzissionsbewegungen der Erdachse erkennen kann.

Photography Tips

Leider war zu dem Zeitpunkt, als ich es besuchte, ein großer Bauzaun um das Observatorium herum aufgestellt, da es Einsturz gefährdet ist.
Natürlich bin ich durch eine Lücke im Zaun geschlüpft
