Get up early. One day is not enough if the weather is cold clear and the snow fresh. Then you will need multiple sunrises and sunsets to capture the amazing scenery.

Travel Information

Once in Schierke the public road ends at the Parking Area "Am winterbergtor". From here, hike up the Brocken Peak road. Once on this road you will find hiking trails taking a shorter way up.
Another option is to stay a the Peak Hotel and simply get up early enough to walk down 10min-20min to this spot.
