On the way to the Simsee, I saw the sunrise with still some fog on the meadow.

See the spot Simsee! The trip on the A8 from Munich to Simsee takes about 1h. Be aware that in winter the traffic is especially on weekends horrible. Lots of traffic jams because people go by car to the Alps for skiing.
