The Dome of Trier, also known as Trier Cathedral (Trierer Dom), is the oldest cathedral in Germany. It combines Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque architectural styles and houses important religious artifacts, making it a significant historical and spiritual landmark.

Trier Cathedral is located in the city center, about a 10–15 minute walk from Trier’s main train station. You can also reach it by local bus with stops nearby. The route through the historic town is very pleasant.
