Sunrise @ Hintersee Germany

One of the most spectacular places to shoot sunrise in the very south of Bavaria (Berchtesgadener Land).
This is a must go!!! No surprise that you`ll see quite a lot of photograper early at 06:45 at this spot. :-)

Travel information

The only way to go there is by car.
Park at the place marked and you car is only 50m away from the spot you`ll take your photos.
Although this is a very isolated area you can take your photos as any time. Safety is no issue at all.

Hi Michael, I tried several times to add pictures to the available spots but technically the update circle toke so long that I decided to create my own spot.... You are right in a certain manner, I am using the polarizer to have a mixture between the reflection of ~ 70-80% but adding a bit more blue to the sky and to show partly the bottom of the lake. ;-)

Hi. There are already two of the exact same spots here, would be nice if you can check that before your next upload ;-) . I wonder, you recommend a polarizer, but isn`t the reflection what you want at this spot?
