Königstein is a small town in Saxony near the Czech border close to the upper Elbe river. It's name comes from the medieval fortress that towers on a rock above the town.

Travel Information

You have to walk. The spot is a terrace beside a 260 steps stairway from the upper town down to the center. Be careful, the steps are very uneven.
