Sami bay is situated on the east coast of the Ionian island Cephalonia (Kefalonia). From this side obviously the sunrise is spectacular. Facing Ithaki island and the west coast of mainland Greece, the view is unbeatable.

Photography Tips

Amazing sunrise from the jetty in Karavomilos. The earlier the better, you will catch the fishermen at crack of dawn. The sun rising from behind the mountains is a fabulous experience
