By the end of summer, Prasonisi becomes island, separated from Rhodes. In June, in my experience, it is still a peninsula. Walk rught through the island by the path and you will see it - lighthouse at a southern end of the island, where almost no tourists come.

Drive to Macheria by car, then leave it at spacious parking area at the beach and go on by foot.
