The Templa Bridge, on the Acheloos River, joins the prefecture of Evritania with the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania, a stone-built bridge designed by Italian engineers in 1915. Before its construction, there was a wooden "templon" where its name was still preserved.

Photography Tips

It is an impressive stone-built structure. It consists of a large central arch that bridges the riverbed and eight smaller asymmetric relief bows positioned on both sides. It has an imposing volume perfectly harmonized with its surroundings and remarkable construction and decorative details that make up a harmonious whole.
