I visited early October 2022. You can no longer get to the suggested spot. It is closed off because there were several fatal accidents out there. You are only allowed to stand on a small viewing platform a bit farther south and closer to the beach. If you are short like me, you probably won't even see the actual shipwreck and just a small slice of the beach. Maybe a self stick would help. There can also be a long wait to get out to the platform where only about 6 people are allowed at one time. :(
