This is the new promenade of Thessaloniki along the coastal shore. The sculpture depicting metal umbrellas by the artist Giorgos Zogolopoulos has now become identified with the city.

Photography Tips

I went out for a walk with my nifty fifty-and was very surprised to see the results' as this sculpture is very tall! I would recommend taking a wider lens and a tripod for long exposure.

Travel Information

This promenade goes along most part of Thessaloniki and there is no better pleasure than taking a walk early morning.
