Hong Kong Po Toi Island

Po Toi Island is a lesser known island about 30 minutes ferry ride from central Hong Kong. Its sparse volcanic landscape is also home to some of the oldest petroglyphs in Asia. There are no roads or substantial settlements on the island.

Photography Tips

The dramatic coastline offers the best photo opportunities. Bring wet weather gear to protect your camera as ocean squalls can move in quickly and do so frequently.
