The distinctive Hong Kong junk boats can be boarded from the lower level at the Victoria Harbour waterfront. You can of course photograph them from above, but if you want to get up close, you want to be on the level below. (This is also much less busy than the top level, so there is better room for a tripod. There is also a railing if you want to use a clamp).

Photography Tips

The boats run an evening cruise to coincide with the nighttime laser show, so if your timing is right you can capture the junk boats with the lasers going off in the background.
