Hong Kong North Point Fire Station

North Point Fire Station is a popular spot in Hong Kong for urban photographers, owing to its pink and red colouration and aesthetically pleasing rectangular grid style.

The street is a dead-end road and so is relatively empty of traffic, meaning you'll easily find plenty of room to take photos.

Use a tripod if that makes things easier for you. Definitely use a wide-angle lens.

If you're patient and lucky enough, a fire engine or a fire truck will roll out and enter your frame, as one did with this photo. Alternatively, wait for one of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis to be in the image instead.

I took this photo at 3pm and since this facade faces directly West this side of the building was not in shadow.

North Point MTR subway station is located very close by and is probably the easiest way to get there. There are also plenty of buses that stop nearby, too.
