Iceland Puffin
To get to Latrabjarg (the westernmost point of Iceland and all of Europe) you have to drive a very narrow, steep, pothole-ridden gravel road (without guard rails) in the rain along sheer cliffs whilst dodging the sheep that run into the road, rock falls, and oncoming traffic. But once there... You quickly realize that it was totally worth the trip.
The puffins can only be seen here until the beginning of August. From August they fly out to sea again. The best time to take photos is from mid-June to early August.
