This is on the shore of the inlet near the town of Grundarfjörður looking out toward Kirkjufell Mountain that is located on the Snæfellsnes peninsula.

Photography Tips

A 16-35 mm lens using the rocks as great foreground interest. I parked on the side of the road and walked a short distance onto the beach. Grundarfjörður is located about 1.5 hours north west of Reykjavík.
