The waterfall is situated directly at the "Stuðlagil -East Side Parking", you cannot go further by car on your way to the canyon from here. A free parking is about 4k futher north.
You cannot reach this waterfall by car during winter. If you walk there from the free parking, use crampons as great parts of the road are completely covered with ice.
