The southern end of the Álftafjörður (Swan Fjord) is very scenic with rocks in the sea, black beach, the surf of the North Atlantic and the mountains of the Eastfjords as backdrop.
Additionally, there are swarms of knot and ruddy turnstones as well as oystercatchers.
