Iceland Mýrar Lowlands
The lake-rich lowlands of Mýrar are hardly mentioned in travel guides and are not developed for tourism. There are many pretty lakes, wetlands as well as small sea bays and correspondingly many different birds, e.g. whooper swans. There are also large numbers of Icelandic horses here.
