Iceland Svörtuloft Lighthouse [drone]

This lighthouse is located in the very West of Iceland and is reachable by driving on a dirt road for a few kilometers. It's pretty close to the cliffs and a nice stop when exploring the area.

Photography Tips

If it's not too windy you should take out your drone and get a photo of the lighthouse taken above the ocean to create a nice composition with the ocean in the foreground, the lighthouse as subject, and surrounding hills in the background. Be aware of strong wind gusts.

Travel Information

You have to take a dirt road to get here but the driving conditions are absolutely fine and no 4x4 is needed. Parking is right behind the lighthouse available.
