Photography Tips
Blue Hour was lovely to capture the lights of the rental car in the image. But makes it a bit harder to capture the photo without too much noise (high ISO required). It's an excellent spot to photograph all day long.
Travel Information
You need a 4x4 car to get to this location since you must drive several dozen kilometers on a gravel road (F35 and F347) in the Icelandic highlands towards Kerlingarfjoll Hot Springs. When traveling in Iceland, it is always nice to check www.safetravel.is for travel information since road conditions can change fast. The road is not accesable during winter.
