Iceland Reflection pool at Kirkjufell, Iceland
The Kirkjufell Mountain is a famous peak in the North West of Iceland and is visited by many tourists. To get to this spot, you must continue the trail leading to Kirkjufellsfoss down to the water level. It is less crowded here since most people visit the waterfall itself.
Photography Tips
I tried to get very close to the water's surface to get the best reflection outcome. It was a bit windy, making it hard to get a good result from a higher level. Bring a wide-angle lens since the mountain is quite close to you, and might be hard to be captured with longer lenses.
Travel Information
You can park your car at the marked parking lot, which requires a small fee. From here it's just a few minutes by foot. I would also suggest checking www.safetravel.is when traveling in Iceland since weather and road conditions can change quickly.
