Photography Tips

It's possible, via trekking, to also shoot from the rim of the volcano. However, from a drone it's obviously more beautiful as you can isolate the details of the crater and the internal lake.

Travel Information

Passing Vik i Myrdal, follow road no. 1 to the intersection with the F208. After a few kilometers, take the turnoff for the F210. After that, you'll need to drive for about 20 kilometers. Be careful of rivers; use a suitable 4x4.
