Iceland Staðastaður Historic Site
Staðastaður is one of the historic sites on the Snæfellsnes peninsula . Ari Fróði Porgilsson (1067-1148) - Ari the Wise, lived and served as a priest at Staður at Ölduhryggur, which is now called Staðastaður. (From “Guide to Iceland”)
