It is a place where, if you are coming from Reykjavik to the airport (Keflavik) and have 30-40 minutes to spare, you can stop for a few shots. It is also an excellent foreground for the northern lights.

Travel Information

You get off the highway that connects Reykjavik to Keflavik and take a short detour. In my case it took a maximum of 40 minutes, including about 10 minutes waiting for the rain to slow down. Parking available.
