Iceland Lómagnúpur - East side

It is a must-see stop for those arriving in this part of Iceland. You can get an excellent view from the parking lot located 50 meters from Route 1.

You can use almost any kind of lens, but I think a focal length of max 50mm would be the most suitable. You can also do a long exposure with an ND filter if the clouds help. If it has rained recently or if there are some larger puddles, I would recommend a reflection photo in the water. And last but not least, it is a great place for the northern lights.

This place is about 100km east of Vik and is impossible to miss as it is right next to the Ring Road. The parking lot is 50 meters from the main road and is on the left when you go from west to east. Free parking.
