Iceland Gatklettur at Dimmuborgir
Dimmuborgir is a large lava field near Lake Myvatn. In that field there are several arches, with Gatklettur being the most promiment one.
There are signs leading to it and you will need approximately 10 minutes of rather easy walking to get there from the parking.

Photography Tips
You will most probably need a wide-angle-lens as the arch is elevated and you will only get sky as a background with a long lens.
You can take photos from both sides of the arch, I preferred the east-side because of the better background. If the light changes, the west-side might be the better one, however.
One can put a fellow human in the frame to provide scale. As the arch is not huge, that might work counterproductive, however.
I liked both versions.

Travel Information
There is a parking-space and from there one can walk on several paths through the lava fields. The paths get iced during the winter.
