Absolutely one of the best vantage points in the Highlands, where braised river and the deep blue lake appear together in a single frame.

You can launch a drone from the marked spot here, or reach the area by taking a small sightseeing plane. A drone, of course, gives you far more creative freedom. The Highlands are open only during the summer season, and the winds can be very strong, so avoid flying your drone in high-wind conditions. Sightseeing planes occasionally pass through this area, so always keep an eye out and give them the right-of-way.

I recommend driving a high-clearance, off-road capable vehicle to reach this location. Be sure to download offline maps in advance and follow the vehicle tracks visible on satellite imagery. There is no cell service in the area, so pay close attention to your route on the way in to avoid getting lost.
