One of the most beautiful spots to photograph the colorful mountains, without having to go for kilometers. Very beautiful from mid-June to mid-July due to the presence of patches of snow that contrast with the incredible colors of the terrain.

Photography Tips

I recommend shooting with a 24-70 or 70-200 depending on whether you want to integrate the human figure into the frame or not.

Travel Information

Reachable after an hour's trek from the Landmannalaugar base camp. The last 600 meters are steep, but nothing impossible. An enchanting place.
