India Orchid Hotel, Mumbai Domestic Airport
The Orchid Hotel is right beside the Mumbai domestic section of the airport. Architecturally, the interior public spaces offer great views but the staff are not at all photographer friendly - to the point where they even have a guard on the roof to ensure you don’t photograph planes landing or taking off at the airport. The local parakeets, also visible from the roof, are less shy.
When I was there, one wing was being used as Covid-19 quarantine so this shot was from the second wing. There are no views from bedrooms but the hallway outside the rooms is impressive.
