Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, India. It is a wonderful place to stop off on your journey through India.
It is called the Pink City due to the use of red sandstone in the construction of many of the wonderful buildings, they were painted pink in honour of Queen Victoria's husband Albert in 1876.
