India Taj Mahal
This man was working on his straw basket. I wanted to capture the moment, but when he noticed me, he tried to step out of the frame. Somehow, with clumsy gestures, I managed to 'tell' him that he was the soul of the picture! Surprised, he humbly froze in this 'stiff pose.'
I was so disappointed because I thought I had lost 'my shot.' I was carrying 80 rolls of film and did not want to "waste" any of it. However, I took the picture to "honour" the man's beautiful gesture. I thought the natural feel was lost, and yet I was so wrong! It might not be the best shot ever, but this is indeed one of my favourite photographs now. It was so mystical. That beautiful moment is still in my mind, and I am grateful for it.

Photography Tips
Try to go early in the morning. Use a polarizer filter if you are shooting with a DSLR. I would try shooting what no one has shot before. And again, sometimes the shot you never thought would make the final cut might end up being the one that stays with you.
