Tanjung Mareha Indonesia

Cape Mareha situated in between and overlooking 2 popular spots in Sumba: Watu Malandong on the left and Bwana beach to the right.

Sumba feels like an untouched undiscovered paradise. One of these places is the Bawana Beach, which is located on the Kodi area, Sumba Barat Daya. In fact, the beaches are "rediscovered", which has an extraordinary beauty. The up to about 5 meters high cliffs with a big hole in the middle as well as the so called coral holes that protrude to the side so that it looks like a gate on the beach. The white sand and the clear blue water, as well as the waves complete the paradise.
Thank you very much for your suggested change. We will check it as soon as possible and update this spot.

Travel information

In order to access this beach, you will have to go with the locals and climb down some very steep stairs along the cliff (Semi Dangerous). Once you are down there, the view is just amazing. This beach will be fully submerge during high tide, so be aware of the tide coming in.
