The tallest point opposite mount Bromo is to witness the sunrise and the sun's red rays will light up the face of the mountain.

Photography Tips

This is the most popular spot to watch the sunrise at Bromo and it is now inundated with numerous tourists. I would suggest visiting here during April through September for the milky way and the mountain and staying through the night before the hordes of tourists pour upon this spot.

It WILL BE cold with cold winds blowing. Do bring along a downs jacket, headgear and face protection. Heat packs are highly recommended if you are staying through the night.
