The Komodo dragon, also known as the Komodo monitor, is a species of lizard found in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, and Gili Motang.
Komodo dragons are the heaviest lizards on Earth. They have long, flat heads with rounded snouts, scaly skin, bowed legs, and huge, muscular tails.

Komodo Island is the furthest island in Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo, Flores Island, Indonesia. From Labuan Bajo you will take a boat to Komodo Island.
