One of Iran's big deserts, partly rocky and mostly with large sand dunes. In the north, the desert borders the Namak salt lake.

Photography Tips

Best time is at sunset. But be aware towards evening the desert comes to life, but other as you might think, it's mostly young people who come to party in the desert.

You can't go there yourself but definitely need a guide. Best is to book a tour from Kashan.
