Raphoe Castle was built in 1630 for the bishops and was ruined in the 17th century. A spot to look at if you are passing through County Donegal. It is a ruin and you can enter the ruins

Travel Information

This located in the town of Raphoe parking is close to the entrance. This entrance is through the bushes so you may have to search a little then up a small incline and over a part of the wall [quite easy to get over] this acts as a gate to stop the cows getting out then you can wander round the ruin
