The Cliffs of Moher are located between the villages of Dollin and Liscannor. The cliffs stretch five miles and reach 702 feet at the highest point. On a clear day the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, the Twelve Pins and the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara are in view.

The best time to photograph the Cliffs of Moher is in the late afternoon and early evening, when the sun is to the west and the crowds are gone.

Travel Information

There are many tours that visit the cliffs but it's best to have your own car and visit at a time that works for you. There is a fee to park.
