Israel Temple Mount, Jerusalem
The holiest spot in Israel, but entry is kinda tricky.

Non-Muslims need to enter the site from the wooden walkway seen to the right of the Wailing Wall.

Photography Tips
Be there as soon as it opens (7 am, check the link for the entry restrictions).
Bring a wide-angle lens.
Non-Muslims are limited to time at the site, which is generally in the morning. The good news is that is when the best light is!. Go early, be respectful, try to be there before the larger groups enter. Before you rush to the mosque spend some time in the lower courtyards, many of the best compositions are there as the main level has very little visual elements aside from the mosque itself. I don't believe you are allowed to enter the mosque without a guide or without having some prior permission.

Travel Information
Do not wear any religious symbols or flags of any country.
For non Muslims there are entry restrictions, check them here:

This site is in the old city which is walled and only accessible through four gates and on foot. You will likely have to go through security checkpoints before you reach this site. Old City is an amazing but active place, it is not ideal for those who need walking assistance or have trouble navigating close urban situations.
